I have a set of 17x70x285's, they fit under the stock hight, and stock rim, am i in danger with travel scrub and also at full lock. They seem to be fine but i also havent done any bush work with them.

I wouldn't worry about the legality's with the rims as the tyres aren't legal anyway, they are over 25mm larger in diameter than the original tyres, your screwed both ways if you want to be legal by the letter of the law, if not, be like the rest of us on here & drive it regardless, the tyres are just out side the legal guidelines & don't look out of place on the JK, I've been running 35's on the same offset rims as yours for the past 2 years with out any issues, but still have the standard wheels & tyres in the shed in case I get told to take the 35"s off

Just been having a PM chat regarding this and the new Vic Roads document no longer mentions the 50mm wider track for solid front axles, only mentions 25mm max for all front ends. Will it ever end??

so what actually happens when u get defected? i thaught they take ur car and make u go get a new roady and take licence? or do they give u like 7 days to put stock rims back on or something?.

After lifting only 2" is there a need to adjust the headlights?

I guess you could argue there is but I found my headlights aimed too high on low beam to begin with so I just use the headlight leveling switch down near the ESP button.
