Just crossed 48,000 kms, so:
  • Cleaned calipers and pins. Everything greased. Rear pads will need replacement in a few months, but the front ones are not even at halfway mark. Rotors are fine.
  • Rotated tyres.
  • Changed air filter - used Mopar one.
  • Changed engine oil - used Penrite Enviro+ GF-5 5w-30. Kept looking for 5w-30 that met MS-6395 standard, only found this. Specs Penrite
  • Changed engine oil filter - used Mopar one.
  • Changed front and rear differential fluid. Used Penrite again.

All previous services were done by the dealer as it was still under warranty, but now I can use the oils and fluids that I am comfortable with (within specs).

Mine is set up so the winch 12V POS cable runs across a HD solenoid. The switch in the cab runs the solenoid coil so there is no power outside the at the winch unless I engage the solenoid from in the cabin.
My winch isn't set up to operate from internal switches, though.....it has both cabled and wireless controllers.

I got the switchcap, but never got around to doing it.

My plan was to get the HD solenoid to put in the main line from the battery. But I never actually got it. Alternatively, I was going to put a relay in the signal ground wire from the solenoid.

Finally got my new NPC single mass clutch kit fitted along with new cv in front shaft...... so good to have acceleration over 1800rpm again! Shifts smooth, good pedal feel and just in time for easter. The old clutch plate was worn to the rivets although the flywheel wasn't too bad the damper was still ok with only tiny bit of heat marks on the flywheel. Considering the previous owner used to tow a camper probably did well to last 97, 000kms.

This is what I've been using in mine which meets that spec but not sure if you can get it in NZ though.
