It's easy just tap into the wiring next to the plug on the fermo and 2 wires to a switch with full power and then you flick the switch when needed and still works when air cons turns on that's how mine is plus just ad a fuse to one wire no relays

bought x7 simex centipedes off tuffeb. x3 are primo, debating what to do with the other 4...will be interesting to see how they fit with a 2" IRO lift..may have to look at some coil spacers and adjustable shackles

also have a HD chromoly tie rod w new tie rod ends inbound from another jeeper..many happy times

its quite easy actually. the starter comes apart in 3 pieces. end cap where the brushes sit, middle where the armature is and the front portion is where the assembly that connects to the fly wheel to start your car. also holds 3 gears and a small ball bearing (dont lose the ball bearing). all gets held by 2 long bolts which once you undo you can separate the 3 parts. its just a matter of disassemble clean re grease and reassemble. go jeep has a good write up on stripping and cleaning one.

Just remember not to overtighten the bolt that screws into the starter (at the bell housing ) ,the thread is alloy and can be easily stripped, I have 3 in my shed with stripped threads ,
A helicoil will probably fix them !!
