Default WJ & WH Snorkel Update

Hello all, I have spoken to Michael Kirk-Williams at Gibson RM today, he informs me that the WJ series needs a volunteer WJ PETROL vehicle owner who would be willing to assist in the final lot of development.

I have PM'd the Victorian members who have indicated that they wanted a snorkel, as well as MJOC.

As soon as someone comes forward he will finish the WJ petrol series and work on the WJ CRD and WH CRD virtually simultaenously, then complete the WH Petrol.

The person who makes their vehicle available, should then be able to give us an update on this website, as to how this is proceeding.

He is hopeful of completing the WG/WJ series within a few weeks and likewise the WH/WK series for both the domestic and overseas markets - North American and European, which will please a hell of a lot of people, including me!

Michael has promised he will "get straight into the completion of the WJ as soon as a vehicle is presented"

This is the best news we have had since I became involved, way back in August 2008. cheers johnv

hi Barfoot, although my home is in Ballarat, Gibson RM factory is in Dromana, on the South Eastern side of Port Phillip Bay in an area known as the Mornington Penninsula - feel free, its about 3 hours from Ballarat. Cheers

No worries john, I will be on holiday anyway. Not a typical holiday spot I know, but seeing family, etc. Don't mind making the effort for the cause. Plan on going to footy in Melb anyway. Have friends & family there with alternate transport, etc. I doubt it will come to that though?

Hi all, I have had an Email from Gibson RM, they have had someone contact them and is going in on Friday - boy that was quick - thank you whoever you are - please keep us updated - we all need to know!

An update - the president of the MJOC has advised me that one of their members has agreed to supply his vehicle.
We look forward to hearing more news soon!
