Pay for Play, when you effectively pay their salaries, you can have whatever you want printed...... an economic reality of the Magazine industry. That's not just ARB its across the board. There's not a lot in mags thats not "sponsored".... treat them as an advertising brochure with a bit of general interest thrown in and your pretty much on the mark.

ARB make some good gear no question about that..... it just seems that a degree of arrogance has also developed in some of their staff who genuinely believe customers have no other choices. Might be true for some makes and models but certainly not the JK.

Being able to rebuild them really isn't a selling point. If you get them done by a professional it will probably cost the same as buying a new set of shocks.

The Australian supplied bilsteins are rebuild able. $900 for 4 shocks. Quoted $200-250 each to rebuild. And your vehicle is off the road whilst they are sent off to be done. Somehow it's an advantage?

I guess you could get them valved differently?

scroll down the bottom, they have a link to download price listing guide etc. http://www.arb.com.au/products/

I think they do it from a business and marketing perspective. This way they have customers call up ARB to inquire or talk to a rep so they have an ability to up-sell or close deals rather than back forth.

They might also not disclose prices as so to make their gear seem 'luxury' and so they can control prices easier.

Many reasons which I previously questioned, check out the listing link tho.
