Is a daily as well, have driven on 35's as daily before many years ago on a XJ and found that the wear and tear is a downside.

Dana44 for rear on its way with Yukon axles, ratios and ARB. Just waiting on spring and shock mounts to turn up.

Tyres ordered, decide on 33's.

Need to modify the rear swing out carrier a little, seems to rattle and not lock shut well. Will put a rubber stopper in for it to close against to put pressure on the latch.

New RE steering dampner installed on weekend. Didnt realise how crap the OEM one was.... shot to sh1t!!

Didnt get much else done as attended Powercruise on Saturday in Qld to run my HG Premier at.

Hey JB i installed the same rear bar and carrier last weekend and had similar dramas with having mounting locations lining up. Also, I have the opposite problem to you, with mine not being able to shut properly. The arm contacts the receiver and when jammed shut have to pry it open with a crowbar or similar! Need to grind a bit of the receiver down for it to close properly. As you said you get what you pay for!

Also, any pics of the premmy?!
