Hey Piglet, I didn't realise you were in Brisvegas! A CRD JKU with all the weight you have in it would ride very nicely on these springs. Its almost as though they need a lighter version for the 2 door petrol. Even with the front and rear bars and a winch I would have to be 600 to 700 kilo lighter than yours at least. No wonder they bounce around!
Hi Dave,
Ive been hiding up here in Brizvagus now for about 16 years, a Chefing position came up at Parliament House that was too good to turn down, so I played with that for 7ish years until we had kids, then I gave the Chef's life away. I have been with TJM now for over 5 years(it sort of suits me better) they were one of my major sponsors while I was racing (when I was a chef).
I blew up my motor in my late 06 CRD GU (typical nissan thing) at 241000klm,
but it was good timing as it was when TJM wanted to sell its JK CRD 4 dr that they had used as their proto-type rig for all the product they are sending to the US.
The JK probably isnt the most practical family car I have ever owned but she is the most fun, & it will become my sons 1st car in 3 yrs time.
The ride is improving as Im slowly changing, adding & modifying things to what I want, I notice your up noosa, we will have to catch up on the beach on march 9th for the topless day, you can take her for a spin & see what you think.
cheers piggy.

Sounds like a plan - I just arrived back from the North shore about 1/2 hour ago and will def be up for the March trip. Gave the Flexies a good run along some very bumpy tracks (Pettigrew Road and Kings Bore track) after spending many hours lazing in the balmy waters behind Double Island Head - water would have to have been 33+ degrees!

Took her for a spin along the bruce hwy heading north there are a few tracks there, easy stuff. Was by myself so didnt get underneath to look at stuff but I have a creak coming from the right spring area and a metal rattle from the left.
And a couple of times there was a loud thud from the back, I will have a look today if I can source these issues. I have oem rear sway bar links still on waiting for new ones to arrive so that would not help with the rear
I have also noticed that I havea slight oil leak from my front pumpkin its very slight but enough to put oil on the concrete
I suppose when you go to a height like I have I will get other issues to fix
Pic of rear swaybar at the moment
