thanks for following that up gojeep - i had assumed 180 was the stock t-stat in a jeep (thats american ford thinking for you)...your comment on the chemical reactions reminded me of all the aluminum cylinder heads i saw pitted through electrolysis when the wrong coolant is used - anyone running aluminum parts should be aware of this...gojeep, i just want to tell you i have followed your website closely and i am extremely impressed with your line of thinking mechanically (i have, in fact, stolen many of your ideas for my own xj as i think yours is about the best one ive ever seen - hope u dont mind)...just a big thanks for all the good info - keep it up! rodge
