Default What did you do to your XJ today ?

Yesterday went out to McMahons Lookout in Wentworth Falls, Blue Mountains. Amazing lookout into the wilderness area and Lake Burragorang (Warragamba Dam) and nice to get offroad again, even though it wasn't anything hardcore.
Corrugations and washouts proved I need to bump shocks and suspension bushes higher up the priority list!

Replaced rear tyres with two never before used spares - the first, a Goodyear Silent Armor, and the other being a Pirelli Scorpion A/T. The Pirelli is such a good looking tyre, and would have been an easy decision to buy a full set - had Pirelli kept making it.

Pondering my next tyre choice whenever these spares pack it in...

If all things remain the same with the current offerings in 225/75/15, I will most likely look at Bridgestone for the first time with D697s. The Goodyear AT/SA looks okay for 70/30 use on blacktop, but its 5 ribs and smaller tread lugs leave much to be desired and may not be different to the original Goodyear Radial Wranglers which were woeful on the trails - overheated and burst too often in the middle of bugger-all.

Alternatively, I could upsize to 235/75/15 which either continued use of Silent Armors or move to Duratracs, with the alternative possibility being Firestone Destination A/T. There is far more choice available with 235s.

This is out of the xj I brought to restock my parts/ for the ute conversion. The guy said it had a clutch issue, he wasn't wrong.
None was my doing

The broken sway bar I have no idea how that one happened? I haven't hit anything there is no signs of damage or impact.
Might just be strain from off roading. Looking at the broken part it looks like it has been cracked for a while and finnaly snapped,

I take it pretty easy off road. So not too sure
