I just did this mod as well.

Fumoto 106N valve I think it was, and then I drilled a 14mm hole in the ARB plate for a length of hose to go through to slide onto the Fumoto.

Oil changes are a lot easier now

Just cleaned out the JK and stuffed the soft top inside ready to trade it in on Monday.

Bit sad really

But then on a happy note will have a new toy to play with!

I think ARB forgot to stamp a hole for oil drainage…..

It included this for the charcoal canister. Even though Rubicon had the factory one, I think this provides a little bit more protection.

hi mate how much did each guard cost? cheers

Took out the LED 'globes' and put the +80s back in after one of the LED low beams failed. Went intermittent a while back & I swapped them over to see if it was the voltage regulator or the leds, and it worked perfectly for another six months or so. Then started flickering the other night & stopped all together. Appears ot be the led itself that has failed as swapping the globes swapped the fault before it stopped all together.

Focus of the normal globes is much better, and the cutoff is much sharper. While the light seems dimmer & yellower, (even with 'blue power' globes), the illumination seems better. And as I have a 20" Aurora bar on the front now, I don't need them for better distance.

And to add insult to injury, I found a nail in the back tyre of my bike. As it only just made it through rego & already had a patch in it, there went another $300 to replace it as well.

Mounted a Runva EWX9500 winch in the ARB bullbar.

Positives: Fits nicely, looks great. I bent the solenoid box mounting bracket back to 90 degrees and bolted it to a winch delete plate cover hole so the box sits inside the winch hole (beside the winch on the right hand side) instead of above the bullbar.

Negatives: Supplied ground lead (1.8m) is ~20cm too short to reach the battery negative, positive lead is way long.

Think I'll just go to an autoelec to get the wiring finished. I'm happy enough that I got this far with the damn flu that's ruined my weekend. Oh, and props to my awesome wife, who turns out to be better with a wrench than I ever knew.
