Started fabbing up my EGR plate out of some scrap aluminum

Also started thinking about where to mount our Aldi fire extinguisher. Thinking left hand side of the boot, just inside the door. Shouldn't mess with any of my drawer plans either.

How about on the floor just in front of the drivers seat? Thats where Mercedes Benz put them. Dont know if dry powder ones are supposed to be mounted on their side though. I have an old BCF one (out of a MB) that is going to be mounted in mine.

I've seen people mount them on the passengers side of the console near the t/c lever

For the race car I made some mounting bracket that bolted on the front seat bolts to the floor pan and mounted the fire extinguisher there
