Just looking at those pics John I feel the call to go back up there, my toes don't agree though.

Try these. They are gold.

Agree chains are a good idea, but I think I’ve heard there are clearance issues with the front UCA bolt? Particularly if running a larger size tyre than stock

Interesting observation LeCheese...I know I wouldn't get chains on my GC steer, and yes, I wonder how the new GC does go as they say due to the front upper control arm set up and UCA bolt that fitting larger tyres than standard is out of the question....very small diameter chain maybe?

Yes the WL is an interesting setup... supposedly improves articulation and steering geometry, but larger sizes will be a struggle. No doubt they'll work with chains on standard sizes (I'm sure Jeep would've tested this), but anything larger will be worse than the WK2.

I've seen a few of the US guys have managed to put 32s on, but with a lot of poke. No doubt one of the companies over there will fab up a solution

An extra kg per tyre, suppose an LT be heavier and 25mm extra diameter, now that would be handy, with speedo at 62kph when actually 60kph ................... that last pic is interesting........ can't see much reason to go bigger myself....
