I am sure theres a formula out there to calculate it, but IMHO amount of variance would be quite small and foe most automotive aplications wouldn't be an issue.
But I'll try again to explain...
The torque wrench is calibrated based upon a socket located directly onto the square dtive.
By using a crowsfoot you have moved the load point from directly under the square drive to another point and the resulting leverage means that the calibrated reading is no longer as accurate.
Its not about how much force YOU expend turning it. But the Accuracy of the calibrations used to measure the end result applied to force to the fastner.
Does that make more sense?

It actually can be quite substantial depending on the offset and the length of the torque wrench...

Of course it will if you use it as in your example. That is why you have a calculator obviously.

For the 90 degree example it doesn't change

I probably should have read back a page before butting in...

At 90º it doesn't change but for linear extensions, and sometimes you don't have a 90º pathway, it can be significant... This calculator has been a staple here at work where sometimes you need a linear extension up to 450mm long... I think it's worth sticking in bookmarks for future reference...

As soon as you increase the moment arm (ie, have the adapter angled forward of the torque wrench drive point) then you affect the torque setting...there is a formula and calculators on line to figure the change of torque setting needed.
Having the adapter at 90 degrees, the affect to the torque setting is negligible (though I'm sure there is an effect)....it can be discounted in the setting of the wrench.
At least, this is what I've been taught many years ago.

Default Fire extinguisher mount

I've been looking at ways to mount my fire extinguisher in my JKU, and most brackets and kits seem to put the extinguisher on the roll bar in the back of the Jeep. I figure that if I need to use an extinguisher, I'll need it NOW and not want to mess around with running to the back of the Jeep and have to unzip the rear or side window to access it.

After a bit of investigating I found that you can easily mount a 1kg extinguisher on the driver side seat frame, only needing to drill two small bolt holes. It doesn't interfere with the movement of the seat up or down/backward/forward, or the door. There are three existing holes and I bolted the middle hole in mounting bracket to the middle hole in the seat frame and then drilled out the other two holes. Took about 10 minutes all up.

Pics below.
