Now that is a really really nifty bit of work. I wouldn't have thought that vent was salvageable - to that degree anyway. Simple enough solution but obviously clever thinking around the problem first.

I would have wrote it off.

I guess, I'm now learning, this is how hot rods are "afforded" by many of the builders. .

Yeah for sure....... Steel body Rods, nothing is ever broke, rebuild it or reman it

Anyone know who is stamping Louvres in Brizzie ???..... want them on the side panels of flat fenders on CJ

Sure do. Steve on the Ozrodders forum does them and some great metal work too.
