Got the Darche Gen 2 180deg awning.
This thing is huge when opened out and provides great cover, easy to setup and easy to pack away.
Was easy to attach to the Rhino Platform, but would have been good if you got the option of ordering the longer brackets when purchasing the product,
Looking forward to getting plenty of use out of this

Nice pickup. The extended 180s are far more practical than the 270º awnings that have increased in popularity IMO. Only issue that crosses my mind every time I've looked at these is justifying the cash-to-shade ratio over and above a regular 2.5 x 2.

i have the gen1 , pretty much since they launched it . had it on my last two gc's . Perfect for the gc due to the boot opening so high. Absolutely love it . 180 degrees give more than enough shade and the wall kit is awesome for it as well

Did my usual Sunday tyre kick and under bonnet check and discovered while I was topping up the PS fluid that the bonnet isn't steel, must be alloy as my new magnetic light wouldn't bite on ... always something new to discover.

Sure is Aluminium, That's why Jeep had what they called a fix it recall for those experiencing a corroding issue, similar to electrolysis, nasty if anyone has it, that shit creeps along under the paint until the paint starts flaking off in chunks, that's why I run a bonnet protector and touch up any chips

As an old Landy owner know the creeping corrosion bit well.
