Here's one from Red Bluff last night facing north, I was hoping it would be a good night for some star action, moon was barely showing and due to set early, but the bloody clouds kept rolling through, grrrr!!!!!

Nice photo work Grippy.

The night shot with the tree looks like it's dissolving into the universe

With the night shots, did you use additional lighting to illuminate the foreground, trees? Or is that purely the long exposure times and high end camera at work?

The whole viewing the passing over ISS-cloud ruination outcome was too quantum double slit immitating for my liking.

Especially after our campfire discussions the night before on it.

'Oh, hey, the sky is brilliant clear, here comes the International Space Station...ahhhh bugger...it has a single patch of cloud that cruises directly under it these days'. But only when you look at it

Thumbs up A champion in our midst

A massive shout out to RuffyXJ

He set aside 12 hours of his time, and his WJ to retrieve us and Dexter the WG

Yep, very close to 12 hours all up. He got home after 2am

What a very nice thing to do.

I owe him big time
