This is simply not happening. I took my daughter to the hospital this morning, everything was good, flattened it a few times to kick it back a gear to see if it would cut out, all good.

Coming home, there is a reasonable hill coming into town, so the foot goes down and could not believe it, it cuts out.

So, it appears this thing will run great on the flat at any speed, but go up a hill and it cuts out.

It's probably the HP Fuel Pump like mine.

Ok, it drives great. Starts almost instantly, drive it hard like going up a hill, or even on flat if you push your foot down it cuts out. I changed the oil this morning, and there was 8.5 liters in it, even though the dip stick showed in between min and max. I thought they held 6.5 liters. I read on another forum about this guy that had exactly the same problem, turns out he changed the oil on his driveway that had a slight slope and over filled it by 1 liter. As soon as he drained about a liter out and cleaned the cam position sensor, he had no more problems. Could this be a problem?

Also, codes using the key are 703,340, 1130, 100.
My ELM still hasn't arrived so if you think it maybe the brake switch, could someone give me a part number.

I have the exact same issue of cutting out and the only code preset with the elm is 1130.
The only thing that's not new in my engine bay is the HP Fuel Pump. The pump finally started leaking diesel so the problem is now obvious. I'm guessing your problem is also with the fuel pump.

I reckon it's fuel pressure too, when you get your ELM you will be able to monitor the fuel pressure and hopefully identify what the problem is.

It's highly likely the pump has an issue. You may still have a crappy injector or two.

Hi Bodgie,
I can't seem to monitor rail pressure using the Torque app and my genuine elm327 obd2 adaptor. Is there another app that will read the rail pressure so I can see what it reaches before the engine cuts out?
