I bought a little travelling companion for mine. I got sick of the missus complaining we can't pick up anything in the Jeep because there isn't any room in the back.

Oil and filter changed. Transfer case fluid changed. Installed tow hitch. Next week will do the tow harness.

Installed LED rear lights. I got these really cheap from ebay so I thought I'd give them a go.

Yep plugs directly in. You do have to replace the mounting screws though as the ones that come with the lights are too wide and the original screws are too short for the LED lights.

I popped into a hardware store and bought some new ones the same gauge as the OEM screws but about 10mm longer.

Hey Nanook another question if you have the time. Was just having a closer look at ur pics. Looks like the OEM rear bumper but do you have a after market tyre carrier? I'm thinking of a similar set up as I want to try and keep the weight down. Any details appreciated...

I'm still using the OEM rear tyre carrier. I've been wanting to go aftermarket for a while now but this one still does the job so I've kept it.

I've got a Rugged Ridge High Lift jack carrier that is mounted directly onto the hinge itself. A Blackjack welding camp light mount on the left, a rear camera mounted onto the 3rd brake light as well as a UHF aerial mount on the right.

Extra weight wise there really is only the jack and it seems to be holding up well. It's been mounted there for well over 12 months now.
