Pulled off the radiator, air intake, manifold... Soooo much sludge in the oil pan. Waiting for it to clear so I can clean it out. Looks like it was just a gasket that almost destroyed this engine.

Pulled off all the door trims and sprayed wd40 on the door lock actuators. Fixed my "no unlock" situation!

Washed, ligtly sanded and etch primed my Ecco alloys. Will hopefully get to painting at least one coat of gloss black this afternoon.

nearly wrote a car off today. decided to pull out in front of me at 80k, just missed the old guy by inches.

I think my jeep passes the high speed swerve test. I nearly had to go to the

Fitted new RE control arms, went for a drive into the Wattagans for my monthly swim in boarding house dam, car had a bad knock which turned out to be a loose Lhf shock

Lucky I followed the advice of allowing some $$$ for repairs when buying an older rig like an XJ, looks like my customising plans are on hold for a while while I sort out major mechanical issues as my gearbox has completely dropped 3rd





On my wife's SS ute with only 100k that is!!! The M6 is more than a little soupy to say the least
So my lift, drawers and dual battery plans are on ice for a while as I spend a similar amount on a clutch and gearbox replacement as I did on a whole car for me!
