It's simply a piece of 12mm marine ply, two wooden brackets, two chest hinges, two tool hooks, two rubber door stoppers and some grippy rubber mat.

If you want a lower table, swap the hooks and stoppers around.

If you want a "splashback" or extra support, attach another panel with a hook and stopper so it folds flat between and underneath the legs by spacing the legs' hinges upwards with two strips of plywood.

Nice idea

So it's probably quite sad how happy I am about my latest mod to the JK but I don't care, so I'm going to share it with you!

It's a talking point amongst many JK owners about how poor the windscreen washer is, especially on the 2007-2011 JK's. This in particular seriously upsets me, as I despise having a dirty windscreen, I get quite OCD about it.

So to improve this, I have installed a pair of nozzles with 3 jets in each. Here's some photo's...

(Sorry for the poor quality images, I was outside then had to move inside a dark car park when the sun went in!)

The new washer nozzles...

The (useless) rubber tits on the bonnet removed, leaving a perfect sized hole for the washer...

Marked out the shape for the lugs to fit in and filed them into shape...

Cut to shape and painted to avoid corrosion...

Perfect fit...

Behind the scenes...

Installation complete...

The jets at work...

There's now water delivered to every part of the screen and a much more even spread so the wipers provide clarity. I've adjusted the jets again since taking the photos and they are even, in a somewhat symetrical pattern. After a bit of real-world use I may adjust them again, but for the moment I'm stoked with them!

If you haven't already noticed, the aerial will tap on the snorkle when you are driving and can annoy you to distraction.

There are two ways to fix this:
1. Either cable tie the top of the aerial to the snorkle head or,
2. Put some rubber, electrical tape or heatshrink around the base of it where the aerial passes through the snorkle.

Also once a month or so just check that the clamp around the head is tight, they can work themselves loose.

Looks the business though
