Pete,

Have a look at this page

http://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum/...5505&page=1120

It will show you how to use your setup with the extension bolt.

All you need is the Track Bar extension bolt to replace the original bolt (you use the original nut from it). I bought mine from SBR

You don't need the black Fox clamp I bought, just flip the tie rod bracket at the end of your dampener 180 degrees and your done.

Thanks for the info and link Nanook, am ordering one now [emoji41]

Sticking out just a little

I have to say, I've seen worse. I followed an 80 Series Landcruiser home a couple of months ago that looked like a F1 race car as they were sticking so far out. How the hell he hadn't been booked is beyond me.

The 2" extensions will get it close but just brace them underneath in case it starts to sag like mine did with the OEM flares.

When I fitted my DBOR Flatties, I put cork sanding blocks between the bottom of the flares and the bracket that the OEM stiffeners bolt to to give them a bit of strength.

I initially tried that with the OEM flares and couldn't get it to work. Below are a couple of pics of the extensions. After a while the end of the flares ended up resting on the wings of the front bar.

When I fitted the flat flares I was going to cut the OEM flares and use them but couldn't have been bothered, that's why I fitted the cork blocks.

I was watching an old episode of 4wd Action the other day and they had a viewer's JK on. I had to laugh as he had done exactly the same thing.
