Doesn't matter as the vehicle MUST have automatic headlight leveling and headlight washers...... as well as approved lights ( ADR13A ) and the JK has neither. This was confirmed in writing by VicRoads along with their concerns about the deceptive marketing practices used by some aftermarket light suppliers who don't mention the vehicle requirements when selling " approved" lights.

So in the end Just run whatever works well for you as no matter what lights you put in your not legal.

And ...... there are some reflector based LED headlights, and as they don't use lenses, don't suffer from Chromatic aberration. Unfortunately the ones I seen also aren't very good.

At least in NSW it is still just >2000 Lumen ADR spec for cleaning & self levelers at the moment. Unless they have changed it without notification recently.

But no government department would do that, would they?

I believe QLD is the same too, in fact I believe that is an ADR spec so ‘should’ be the same in all states.

Individual States are responsible for vehicle requirements etc so there is the possibility of different States interpreting things differently. Dumb - but you just have to look at modification rules to see the variation.

Are those actually fasteners, or just decorative spots? If they are functional, I would think they should go all the way up the leading edges, since that is where the armor would get peeled first...

Otherwise, I like it.
