Totally agree with jb, you get what you pay for with this product. Mine was handled a bit roughly and the checker plate you get with it as a bit off scuff protection was bent up. Won't be using it though, don't like the checker plate look.

But $1190 delivered to my door I'm not going to complain. I can now put my stand up paddle boards up on the roof without having to stick the spare on the boot floor.

Default What did you do to your XJ today ?

Changed both tie rod ends and setup the toe again. Drives bloody beautifully now!

Steering solid as, no slop or shake at all and it goes in a straight line. It's like a new car with what I've done this week.

Happy as, Pine Creek wheeling on Sunday.

Thanks. I had some cheapies in there and the temp worked but the oil psi read off the dial.
So I got three matching mechanical gauges. Oil psi, oil temp & h20 temp.
Just have to buy some adapters to fit the temp senders.

Cheers.

If your going to reglue the roof lining take a 2ltr container and cash to your local auto upholstery guy and they will sort you out, remember it is contact adhesive so spray both sides and just as it goes tacky stick together usually only a minute or two stick together. Else you can go direct to nolan yatala but you have to buy 20 litres, ouch.

Got one of the rear leaf springs in last night. Took around 2hrs all up, hardest part was working with a hand press to get the upper shackle bushes out. Now that I've done it once though, I reckon it'll only take around an hour to do the other side. All this is getting done on the floor too, so thank god for electronic scissor jacks!
