Is that to anywhere in Aust? I need to do an order from Rockauto but when freight for 3-4 cheap items hits $180-$190 its way cheaper for me to buy local.

Depends on what you're ordering. I was quoted over $200 for a TPS locally, but from RockAuto I got TPS, both heater hoses, thermostat and waterpump for $190 delivered

Nah the freight is the issue. Classic case I wanted four flares just to quote as I knew it would be costly over $350 for freight alone. Over $90 for a pair of solenoids (freight only). I wanted to order a few small things a few months back but when they wanted $190 freight and that was when Aussie dollar was $1.03 US. If you live in rural Aust they slug you a mint. In Adelaide my average freight or say $200 worth was under $50.

Regards A

Try Amazon, you will be amazed how many parts they actually have that Rockauto has too...for 1/3 of the shipping. Cheapest international shipping of all.

This is all through the USPS. As far as I can tell this is anywhere to Australia. Seriously if any of you need a bunch of odds and ends shipped over send me a PM. We’ll figure it out.

The killer prices you guys are talking about seem to be when you have a weird shaped/oddball item. If it fits in a USPS flat rate box/envelope and fits within the weight limit these prices really aren't bad.

http://ircalc.usps.com/?country=10013

Flat Rate Envelope (4 pound weight limit) - $23.95

Small Flat Rate Box (4 pound weight limit) - $23.95

Medium Flat Rate Box (20 pound weight limit) - $59.95

Large Flat Rate Box (20 pound weight limit) – $77.95

sounds like the same issue i had..one of the bolts was the tiniest bit loose and would make a large cracking sound when turning.
