Seeing as you’re looking for a diesel I wondered if the air box location would be in a different location but it turns out that its pretty much identical to the V6.
Looking into the KJ diesel Safari snorkel it seems to be very similar or the same as the petrol. As someone that has made a hands on effort regarding the quest for a snorkel I am finding the pages of the installation manual to be encouraging. The only way to know for sure is to get one and give it a try. If no luck with wreckers then they’re around $400 + new which is possibly why no one has put their hand up to say they’ve tried it.

The structural frame beneath the panels are essentially identical between the KJ & KK, it’s just the right guard, wheel arch moulding, bonnet and front window pillar that things get interesting but actually may not be as bad as we might think?
Lastly, the Airflow KJ snorkel appears less suited to the KK, not sure if that’s an option.
