Is anyone having an extended wait for a 2012

I have been looking for a long time on Carsales etc but have just made the big step in asking the local dealer the other day. They obviously only want to sell what they have in stock.

Hi all, long time viewer, first time poster..

Ive put my details into private fleet too, it'll be interesting on what they come up with..

I've had 2 TJ's & a JK Unlimited in the past, but I miss having a 2 door..

Out of curiosity, has anyone back to backed an earlier JK with a Pentastar? I ask the question purely on the difference in price atm...

Private Fleet aren't bad but make sure you do your homework as well. I bought my JK through them and they got the best deal. Dealers who initially gave me higher quotes then told me they'd match it but Private Fleet worked to get the deal so i still went through them. Tried them again when we were looking for the other half's car though and they couldn't come close to offers I'd had, even after trying their network again. I think their best was about 10% higher than I was offer. It's a great service that can see you weeks of traipsing around car yards but don't automatically assume that their best price is better than you can get yourself.

The guy from "Privatefleet" just got back to me, he said there is a 4-6 month's wait on delivery on the 2 Door CRD Auto's and that's by order only. Because of this there will be no discounts available. But as he and the Jeep salesman have said there's plenty of petrol's available. We might sit back and wait another 6 months or so and then give it another go. The price we've been given is 47-48K, that's a bit steep.
