with all these hi tech, fuels arent they suposed to have the cleaners in in the fuel
different ratio, 1/4 tank of "hi tech" fuel wont be enough to dislodge years of crap, so boosting the solvent temporarily loosens it, subsequent tanks of normal fuel should finish the job
(note, i don't think there was anything wrong with them, more of a "why not" kinda thing)

no, just check the injector electrical connectors 99 was a change over year from jetronic/minitimer/EV1 type injector electrical connector to
EV6/USCAR type injector electrical connector.
