Yerr I thought maybe $30-$40 for 20mins of work. I'm not expecting anything for nothing, just want to pay what's fair and reasonable. I know the tools are exi like over a K for a decent one but so is a hoist and mechs only charge $88 to stick ya Jeep up on the hoist for an hour. I might be going back to the place I went to yesterday who will do it for $50. Just means a day off work and I don't like to have days off. I have a Drs appointment on the day so can get a med cert but was thinking of cancelling and going on a Sat to the Drs. Wish the mechs near me were open on a Sat morn as that would work well.

Just buy one of eBay can get one for $20 including postage & then you've got your own.

I don't have a smart phone so I assume the Ebay one wouldn't work for me. I also need one that can clear codes not just read them. I had an idea the cheap ones could only read codes.
