Ordered a new KJ about 12hrs ago. First test drove it about 2-3 days ago. My wife (smart girl) wanted to see (hear) what the audio system sounded like - so we put one of our CDs (compilation - CD/R) into the player - the player selected the first track, and started playing it. But no sound could be heard. We bumped up the volume - and this didnt fix it. We changed tracks....still nothing. We figured it because the player wasnt picking up the CD/R - so the salesperson ran off to get a proper CD.
Meanwhile, back in the Jeep, we couldnt even get the radio to work. We turned it off, and on again, and everything was working. Even my dodgy CD/R worked. (Salesperson promised to get this fixed before delivery)
All of these problems within 18,500km of a brand new 2006 KJ Renegade..although these problems have been rectified by the dealership, I was very disgrunted as to the many visits needed to fix some of these issues. It's finally going well & about time too! Let just say i'm glad the H3's will be here fairly shortly.
1.Rear Wiper stopped working
2.Rattle on the passenger side airbag compartment
3.Ball joint Re-call
4.Squeeking breaks
5.Engine light stay's on while driving
6.Power Steering failed due to a hose leak
7.Break light melted rear brake light compartment
8.Wiper stops at full speed
9.Reverts keep popping out most times I go wheeling
