Stu isn't giving away much on this is he.

This video is pretty cool too, though it has nothing to do with snorkels. Love the sound around the 20 second mark ...

I paid Stu a visit on Friday and he showed me the prototype.

I can confirm she is not wood but it will hug the A pillar nicely.

It is a one piece unit and does not have a big head aka Airflow/Safari systems.

He said the next step is working out how to connect it up under the bonnet.

Same thing that's troubled Airflow for some time but I think they solved the problem last I heard..Jeep know owners love to modify their Jeeps so why do they make it difficult..You'd think by now they'd design to make some allowance like second battery, snorkel, CB, bullbar..Guess us 2% isn't a big enough market worry but we're the loyal diehards...Not a bitch but a musing..WK2 will be my 5th.

That's OK, us Ozzies love a challenge and that's why these forums are so good as collectvely we solve each and every challenge as it arises. Not even the Canbus system could thwart us this time (although it did have us stumped for a little while)

I'll go out on a limb and say that the mould for the protoype was made from the wood plug. What you see is the computer router cutting the shape out into the block.
