XJ: MY99 Cherokee MILD Tourer

Got the D44 Im putting in the XJ all stripped of TJ mounts now. Ready to start measuring up for leaf and shock mounts.

D44 with 4.88's and ARB Locker now in the arse of the XJ. Need to rebuild brakes now. Not happy with the diff I bought off a member from here, overpriced for that I received but non the less its in.

Off the shelf leaf mounts and off the shelf shock mounts. Swapped over the brake lines off the old diff, as well as the hand brake cable. Had to disconnect the ABS from under the back seat so no more ABS thank god!!

Picked up 1.25" in the rear with the spring mounts, now she sits level with the weight of the rear wheel carrier and full sized spare.

Now Mr Woodly, wheres my parts for the front diff mate??



Need to extend bump stops still.

Very nice. Bah who needs ABS. I was surprised the other day by how early it activated in a heavy braking moment (damn short skirts lol)

Well the first test drive didn't go well. Massive whine in the diff, would suggest the water in the diff, damage to the locker and crapped pinion bearing would amount to the noise. Add to that the rooted brakes, seems I got stung badly by this purchase from a fellow AJOR member
