Still waiting fro the other one to show up from Victoria, going to plug it in when I get it and if it works, it's going under the back seat. Never am I going to be without a car again..
And the love phase begins.

Nice one. You didn't actually have any error codes. Power disconnected would be 12. 55 means end of codes.

good job!..its often hard to tell how experienced some posters are with electronics issues

be interesting to see if the spare PCM works, and good to have on hand, mine is wrapped in plastic & cardboard under the seat, along with sensors

somewhere on the net, on NAXJA I think , is a long thread on repairing PCMs, which capacitors need replacing etc

Good that your spare PCM is working too Lenny. That was a bargain for $90. I have ordered one from Patrick as well. Will plug it in when i get it to make sure it is all working.. then wrap it up and store it under the seat.
I think if you have a few good sensor spares, belts, rotor/cap, coil and a few bits and pieces, you can drive anywhere knowing that if a problem arises, you have a good chance of fixing it and being back on the road within the hour.

Cheers,
