Hey warnabrother I have had one of these battery trays sitting in my shed for about 12 months now (just waiting for factory battery to die) are the factory terminal cables long enough or do they need to be extended?
Also did you use any heat shield ?

The positive is long enough but the neg gets attached to the second battery and a "jump" cable attached to the primary battery neg terminal

I did look into these and the feeling I got was that I could make one, but the associated costs other than the tray itself was cost prohibited.

I don't think anyone would ever want to pay the money I felt it would cost, and there is other more cost effective options to be had.
