That looks a lot lighter than my rear unit. I love mine and it has made going away so much easier but being mostly 16mm ply there is considerable weight associated with my rear drawer & fridge unit. I can't weld so had to go with what I could do with a little help from my bro who is a carpenter.

decided after spending a small fortune on my d30 I may have little choice but to buy a complete new axle. My leak is to persistent and no matter how many time the seals get changed it will always leak as I think the left tube is loose since the major impact a 2012 Jambo. Besides that I have had to shim the CAs too far from original just so I can centre my bump stops. Probably should have went for RE adjustable's instead of fixed. I do have another option and that is to rebuild the one on the wreck which seems ok. Only thing is it will require new BJs no doubt. It would also mean running stub axles for a few weeks while the centre is pulled from my current axle and re-shimmed to suit the one from the wreck.

Both me and the young fella put a string of LEDs in the boot of our XJs. Been so long without light back there, it'll be posh for a while, I reckon....
Josh used bright green ones.... will throw a pic up later. got called in for tea.
