Thanks to Braith7 for this pic, it may be of help to some....

1. Relays - Screw to body near battery
2. Attach to Negative on battery
3. Attach to Positive on battery
4. Plug into existing Driver side Headlamp plug
5. Driver side Headlamp
6. Passenger side Headlamp
7. Driving Light
8. Driving Light
9. For if you want to run the Driving lights on a switch - extend to a switch on the dash - switched to ground.

Use vaseline or similar on all connections, use electrical tape on "4" to seal it to the original socket. Use cable ties or tape to tie the new loom to the original where runs along side, pre-updates run across the top of the grille, updates run across the bottom. The loom pictured is a pre-update loom....

Cheers, JJ

Hopefully the "box with some wires and plugs" are all still connected!!!
Yours being an update looks a little different from the one in the pic but the connections are all the same...

Enjoy

Default Seems like I missed the boat

A chance of a ready made loom at not much more than the parts cost me a couple of years was what prompted me to join-up with you guys but these things take a little time (work keeps getting in the way!) and, anyway, it all depended on the p&p not being too much.

Having seen the size of the package, I'm now sure the cost of posting would be prohibitive - so p'raps it's as well I've left it too late.

No regrets.

Default Looms to the UK

Well, mebbe I am still interested [the alternatives are either pull the old one out of my '96 and re-install it in my 2000 (cheap but twice the work) OR start again - using Go-jeep's useful blueprint - but I was amazed at the cost of the bits 2 or 3 years ago].

So, assuming you're geared up for international payments, can you give me some idea of the cost of postage (providing you send it as "a gift" we don't have to worry about duty)?

UKXJ I have no dramas sending a loom to you as long as you have Paypal and you are willing to pay the Paypal fees (I am not a business, just a forum member doing this to help other forum members) and I would have to work out the postage which means I would need some more info on your location for calculating the postage.

Cheers, JJ
