I'm not in the least bit upset or annoyed by the thread. Now you've got the warning out there successfully I don't think you're achieving anything more. If you do find the thread annoying its simple, just don't open it.

There's got to be a way it can be fixed, I just hope this is the outcome for you. Good luck!!

yeah i'd like updates too - i'd be pissed if that happenned to mine towing within the limits. Sounds to me like you did everything right but just bad luck or a dodgy car or something. What went wrong with the original repair? I can sympathise with you big time, i've had a shocking time with warranty issues and work getting done

i turn on 4wd TV a few weeks ago, and it highlighted the flaw in the 100 series IFS that keeps cracking and breaking...i look on 4wd monthly forum and see that every other make and model has its problems/issues with either the model design or service (warranty claims) from their respective makers. good luck in your new purchase and selling...will you bag the crap out of the Jeep when your trying to sell it? my advice is, build a bridge and get over it.

This is all getting a bit depressing. The best part of AJOR has been the fact that people have been able to express their feelings or ask questions (even dumb ones) without getting flamed like can be seen with some of the Yank forums. All of a sudden we're getting this "precious" element creeping in - criticise Jeep at your peril. If you don't like a bit of criticism - ignore the thread - don't get your knickers in a twist because someone says something you don't like. Constructive criticism is good, occasionally the manufacturer will take notice and improve things. Signwilson-keep us posted and ignore those who can't see the wood for the trees.
Cheers ...Mark

My issue is not that Signwilson has a problem- I do not deny he has a problem, it may even be exaclty what he says it is. I do find it odd that given the treatment some of the Grand owners on this forum have given their cars and none of them have had this issue, yet Signwilson- every Grand owner he talks to seems to have the same problem. Finally my biggest gripe is that he Hi-Jacks threads that have nothing to do with his car (specifically WH Grand threads). Learn the difference and act accordingly and we will all get along. I hope every thing goes well.
