Still can't get the flip window to open with the engine running after the tyres rotate once.

Sorry to hear about your KJ drowning....

For my own KJ I've had the usual front brake discs warp problem and lower ball joints recall ( 2 times ).

I still have something else: when I steer to the left ( turn the wheel till it doesn't go any further ) when parking or doin a U turn at coming back to center position at times I hear a very loud 'CLOING' sound. I've checked suspension myself and don't see anything. Complained about it every time I took it into the dealership for it's regular maintanance, they say they cannot find anything wrong with it... Can it be the spring rubbing against the top suspension arm?

It's finally going well & about time too! Let just say i'm glad the H3's will be here fairly shortly.

1.Rear Wiper stopped working
2.Rattle on the passenger side airbag compartment
3.Ball joint Re-call
4.Squeeking breaks
5.Engine light stay's on while driving
6.Power Steering failed due to a hose leak
7.Break light melted rear brake light compartment
8.Wiper stops at full speed
9.Reverts keep popping out most times I go wheeling
10. Power stearing failed again almost causing an accident on the highway.

Well everyone here's an update on my KJ.. while driving down the highway & about to make a left turn my power stearing failed once again. This almost led me to smash stright into a side of a bus!! I'm disgusted with the build quality of this KJ & have priviously sent a registered letter listing my worries to Ian Barris of Waneroo Chrysler Jeep to which i got no responce. On this the most resent incident I called Ian & strongly advised him that my KJ is not only unreliably but a danger to myself & any passengers in it. For all you folks that arn't aware my KJ has been to the delership around 16 times for malfunctions in the 24,500KM it's done. This is unexcatable as I bought it brand new! Ian seems to be giving me the run around thus giving me no choice other than to take measures for a intended law suit against Waneroo Chrysler Jeep. I've had a few vehicals in the past but by far the responce from this delership to my worries on this KJ have been disgusting and I've never experienced a brand new KJ riddled with issues as the one I bought & for that matter any vehical i've owned in the past either.

GO straight to DC themselves. Bypass the dealer altogether. Let DC know you have repeatedly contacted the dealer and had NO response for their suposed "5 Star" rated dealer. I agree that is an unacceptable amout of failures, we should have "Lemon" laws here in Australia to pretect buyers as yourself from exactly this kind of thing.

Kj renegade

I am surprised you are getting this service from this dealership, I have had nothing but good service from them and on occation where i have picked up on an issue they have rectified it immediately. They have made nothing but the right noises for me.

I hope you find the solution you are looking for, maybe schedule a meeting with the Dealer Principal (you have already named him) but if you feel you have exhausted your patience with them then I suppose go cmohr's route.

good luck

Doesn't this thread bring back memories of trips to the dealership, nothing this bad but still a lot of hassles, Now i drive a toyota with only trips to the dealer is for servicing.
