Well finaly installed most of the bits i had laying around and softened up the rear leafs then installed some led strips on the awning for some camp lighting

How did you "soften" the rear springs?

I pulled the leaf pack apart and modded the bottem leaf. The old man emu packs in it has a realy thick bottem leaf and was way to hard how it was

The reason I ask, I fitted a set of Tough Dog springs & they are a little firm for every day use, great when towing & loaded.

As the bottom leaf is mainly there to limit compression I put mine in a press and added more curve to them so they don't take effect until the springs are more compressed...

My bottem leaf is double normal thickness. I ended up trimming the rear of it off after spring perch but left front part so i didnt end up with spring wrap
