You can get a kit from Novak.com
Bell housing, engine mounts radiator, clutch set up, loom and computers, etc be up around 5k, then you need to get the engine on top of that. That's why I decided not to go the ls1 in the ute.

I got the clutch set up of the t56 set up and was going to adapt to the ax15. As I don't like there clutch kit.

I have about 10-15 to spend on it, I prefer ls1 as they have the same if not better economy than a 4L and more power

Grandpa didn't you sell your WJ due to fuel economy?

LS1 would be sweet in an XJ, although I had one in an VY SS ute, average economy on the open road was 13.7L/100km if I pu55y footed it I'd get maybe 12L/100 if the wind was favouring me.

City was 17-19L/100.

you going to keep it manual??

my VX Clubsport with 360kw at the wheels only used 13/100k around town and 8-9l/100k on the highway.

im not too sure if the loom you can buy from novak would suit the diesel loom though, as the provide a plug in loom

the link is
