Suzuki Grand Vitara with enough money left over to fully kit it out....and buy a camper trailer and kit that out too. I had one for 80000 Kay's totaly reliable unlike the Rubicon I replaced it with haha.

Looked at the Grand Vitara, poor towing capacity compared with the KL and more orientated towards offroad whereas the KL is a true dual purpose vehicle. On top of that the GV has only a four speed auto and cannot match the KL's V6 petrol engine, all of which puts the Suzuki into a cheaper class.

The Vitara use to be available with a 3.2 v6 with a 5 speed auto and could tow 2 tonne, but no body bought them because petrol v6's are no good in a SUV. Would they sell a single v6 trailhawk if it was available in a diesel?
Pentastar Laredo, Isuzu MUX, Pajero Sport Exceed ,Colorado 7 can all be had for the price of a trailhawk, can tow a lot more and are dual purpose.
Saying nothing competes with the trailhawk for its price is just silly.

I'd still buy the V6. I'd prefer some sort of turbocharged petrol, but personally I'm not a fan of diesel for a variety of reasons. Each to their own.

The 4 vehicles you've listed might have some crossover with the Trailhawk on pricing, but they're all larger/heavier/differently specced - all but the Laredo have commercial origins and are far more 'agricultural'. I don't want to drive a land barge when I'm commuting to work or road tripping to visit family. I gave some thought to a Laredo before I bought the Trailhawk but it offered nothing additional that's of any use to me, and I'd have sacrificed a lot of features that I like, because the Laredo simply doesn't offer them.

The GV was a good thing in it's day but I still maintain the Trailhawk is the standout option if you want a smaller SUV with plenty of features and good on-road manners, but is still usable off road.

Here's a side on photo my billet silver TH getting dirty. The black trims stand out really well against the silver:
