Exciting times.

I have booked my wife's Trailhawk for tinting for next week. Factory rear tinting is 20% VLT, I'm getting 35% VLT in the front and same in the rear on top of factory glass. That should be good for Auckland weather (it next gets as hot as Australia, ever).

Yep ditto on the tint, they are using a Cancer Council approved/recommended 35% VLT with a 99.9% UV block on the front and a clear on the rear tinted glass that adds the UV block for interior and passenger protection.

As for heat its still winter and already running mid to high 20's here!! (Dropped to 16 last night)

Got ours tinted today, 20% fronts to match and that clear uv for the rest. Came up aces.

Just in time for the Suns return!

What tyres are you running @valpacer ? Are you still on the stock ones? Just watched a video you posted of the TH late last year and was quite impressed hpw it went on the stockers.

I am looking at towing a 1000kg wind up van up the beach on regular occasions and I just am not confident in those Yokahamas being up to the task.

Contemplating Duratracs but being 70 series are noticeably larger (trying to work out if legal as the TH meets all the requirements for an MC rated vehicle as there is no mention of the beam axle requirement for tyre diameter increase, only for track increase). Then of course there is the warranty issue.....

Yep stock tyres, we will be getting some 245/70's soon hopefully.

They will be legal but will also go against the warranty requirements in the handbook.

Had the pleasure today of watching 4 TH all wheeling together!

Was great to meet you too James and Teags!
