a lexus (1UZ-FE - 4l = 206kw) or a nissan (vh41 or 45 - 4.1L and 4.5L = both about 206kw) would be the go i reckon as engineering wouldnt be as hard due to the engine capacity (more so the 1UZ & VH41) being the same

technology over sheer cubes anyday of the week for me

the the 1UZ is a bulletproof engine

why waste ya time with a 5.0 holden engine, cos while ya going through the trouble of cutting, reffiting and redesigning ya engine bay and associated bits (and engineering cert), ya might as well stick to a Hemi and put one of those 5.7L.

Keep it Jeep and true , Jap cars need the 5.0 cos there brands (ones that strat with T and N ) dont make a good high HP engines :P

1uzfe can be had for around $2500 including the auto or full front cuts around that price as well

You could then fit up a toyota transfer case as well but you are taking it away from being a jeep

The 5.0 is a bad choice anyway as it is a 90 degree V8 and too wide for the engine bay! Better off with a small block Chev which are 60* so a lot narrower or a Ford Windsor V8 which are the same size. I have run both before in my 4wd's and are quite good.

Why dont you just fit a supercharger to the 4.0? Even caper has an aussie kit but better still is the Kenne Bell ones.

Jimmy, I think you need to get me a supercharger. I'm going to need the extra pulling power if you mod your Chero any further!
