Poison Spyder Rocker Brawlers are the ones for me, available from the states unless you are lucky and find some for sale here in oz. Down side steel ones are heavy but plus side are bomb proof, mount to body mounts and 13 rivenuts into the body each side. They wrap snuggly round the JK sill (Boat Side) and as a bonus provide a 3.5" step. Other alternative if Pure Jeep, similar style. Both versions tuck up high for added ground clearance.

Rubi rails, you can just remove the caps from the ends, cut off excess and refit caps, have seen some guys weld bars for steps to rubi sliders.

Cheers

Just reserving a spot for the Bestop HighRock Slider/Steps that are nearly here.
Needed to be able to have a lower step for the missus (suffers from Duck's disease), but dont want to suffer a massive clearance loss.

Thanks for the heads up on Poison Spyder suppliers! There stuff is an awesome product! For Pure Jeep I'm pretty sure Murchison Products supplies and fits! Just speak to Stu! Just about knows everything about Jeeps and provides a great service.

Great step but as for a slider not too sure, from the looks of them they hang way low! so sliding over speed bumps should be fine! as for the trail think you will be sliding on them all the time! sliders need to be tucked up out of the way but also offer the best rocker protection!
