To Easy settle down and read my post again, I was saying the centre steering wheel fault does not give you a ABS light your right in what your saying but what we are talking about here is the ABS light. I'll say that again ABS light. If you read 4wd mans post again you will also see he has already re centered the steering wheel, read before posting or you just look silly.

The OP had the lights come on as soon as he started the vehicle and moved it metre, before he drove off so the steering wheel position sensor would not yet know the steering is off centre as the yaw sensors are not yet detecting any movement, however in the 1 metre he travelled the wheel speed sensors would have all worked bar one most likely tripping the fault indications.

At least thats my take on it!

This issue seems to arise quite often.
When I bought my JK these lights would come on quite often.
After about 6 months of getting a "huh?" for an answer to what could cause this, I fitted my lift kit, and centered the steering.
After more than 3 years, not a single issue.
This may or may not help but could be a clue or substantiate the diagnostics.

Thanks very much for your inputs guys. I'll check the circuits with a multimeter and report back! Cheers.

I ended up taking it to the dealership to diagnose since I wanted them to look at a couple of other things. It was the front right hand wheel speed sensor and was replaced under warranty. All lights now gone. I must have pulled that cable too hard somehow when removing the brake line from the stock bracket. Looks like Dave and Rock God were right on the money! Thanks everyone!

Yeah it seems to be the side if something goes wrong with the ABS sensor it seems that's the likely spot

4wd Man, take it slow when you take it offroad and check it doesn't bind up when flexing.

I've done 2 sensors, both front right. Dealer replaced the first one but no real investigation of where / why it failed. Second was replaced for me by Shents in Wyong so I asked them to check the flex at the same time, all good since (touch wood)
