mine are alloy had to do due to hole in hose

havent removed it but have blocked up the little hose from the vacuum pump.
Tubes sounds like a great idea. I've spent a fair bit of time eliminating rub points on my hoses. Luckily i found them not long after i bought my Jeep. The protective nylon socks had already worn thru in several places and was rubbing away the hoses. Tubes would be nice.

yeah mine are rubbing as well almost rubbed right through

All i did was loosen the clamps at either end and give a little bit of twist until they cleared all the way along. Also added a few cable ties to keep smaller hoses and wires and stuff nice and tight to eliminate movement. If they're all nice and snug they cant rub !!! My missus also says this .........but thats got nothing to do with intercooler hoses !!!!

Kyro, I was speaking to Peter Foot of FOOTO'S and he mentioned something about an upgrade or something that you could do to the diesel motor which improved it by a couple of horsepower.

He mentioned it in passing and i was a bit hungover at the time, so I wasn't concentrating ....
