thanks guy...just thought it might have been cross drilled if it warped that quick...hot rotors and cool mud...not a good mix

Yea to clarify mine were the SLOTTED not the CROSS DRILLED. The first warping involved lots of braking down a steep hill (auto) and then an icy water crossing. Bad plan. But the next lot or warping happened within 9 months which i thought was pretty soon> Especially as i was always careful around water.

hhhmmm ....I think I might call the tech guys and see what they have to say...I think they should be better than that camel...

SC, warping and hard spots can be caused by keeping your foot on the brakes once stationary when the rotors have heated up.
The rest of the rotor cools whilst the section between the pads stays hot, nicely insulated by the pads.
