It wasn't an ideal tow but there was more to it than a simple "put her on the trailer n go".
Heaps of stuffin around at the house, flat tyre etc which was supposed to have been fixed before we arrived. The XJ had no battery, so when I put it on the trailer ol' mate said see ya later, so I had no one for a jump start to move it on the trailer. His house is 1.5 klm from the road. And the road is only a single lane dirt road.
All ended well though and it traveled..........o...k..
Did I mention the exhaust??

Glad it went well mate !!
Gotta luv it when the promised help never eventuates
A mate and myself went virtually from one end of our state to the other, to have a look at
a 770 Charger that was told would not take too much to get going even though it had not
been going for 3 years, so he got a day permit to drive it back...
Long story short, we were gob smacked when we found the car, because there was no way
we were driving it anywhere...1; is because the fuel hose onto fuel pump had deteriorated that
much it had fallen off the pump... 2; these pics will
give a clue to what the advertised pics did'nt show, which became very evident around the whole car !!
1; advertised pic
2; an actual pic
