Slow coolant leak

Had a similar problem, no visible leak but every few months the levels needed topping up.
I did coolant change and its been fine ever since. I was told the new coolant may have freshened up the seals..

Tightened up all the clams and issue has gone. Must have been a really slow leak on one of them.

Its worth checking the egr cooler hoses if you do get a leak. Most people don't know where they are (right side down below the alternator coming out of the block). They have been known to leak.
