Muddy I got caught as well in that. Jeep is only 6 weeks old. Damage on bonnet, drivers door, rear door on drivers side, windscreen surround, front panel above fender on drivers side and panel above rear fender on drivers side. Wait until Friday to let the assessers decide what to do. Hopefully they repair it as I don't want to wait another 6 months for a diesel.

I hear you loud and clear, Anthony. I resigned a bit over a week ago and have 3 working days left

I have a fantastic new job to go to as well, cannot put into words how excited I am about it either But it wasn't advertised, so my advise to you would be get out there and sell yourself to new prospective employers. With the job market going the way it is, waiting for the right job to come along isn't the way to go. Write up a cover letter and send it with your updated resume to as many businesses in your line of work that you can. This has worked for me twice now. The work is out there, you just gotta find it.

Congrats SeaComms!

AG it's worth spending a bit of money to get a good quality resume. And try the state government jobs boards if you can as well. A lot of people don't think of that.

ATM I am biding my time as I have leave from Thurs returning next Wed then two weeks followed by 9 days off. Talking to a bloke I work with over dinner tonight and he has been told Jan is a good month for getting a new job. Apparently a lot of people decide not to go back after their leave. I have a bit of leave up my sleeve so even if I don't have something to go to I will have 2 and a bits weeks of full pay where I don't have to spend 50 bucks a day driving to work. . If worst come to worst I could probably pull a job as a baker which was my old trade. Not real keen on it. But my daughters pop owns a bakery down south and I get along with him pretty well. Bakery work is something I could slide straight into and wouldn't require any training. I would prefer social work or youth work as I get paid quite well in those roles because I have a degree. I can't see myself going back to employment services its a pretty horrible job, trying to find jobs for people that want to work and then breaching those who don't want to work or at least don't make much of an effort.

Regards A

Being in the employment service sector, wouldn't you jack yourself up with a good job before you left.................................

Thinking since I am the only one who is going to buy me a Christmas present this year I need to have a think about what I can get myself... Anyone have something at home or in their shed that they can suggest to me and I might go out and get myself one?

Regards A
