You know what I used to to do with those sort of customers. I would ask them not to speak to my staff like that. And they would say, I want to speak to the manager, and I would say with a cheshire type grin, I am the manager!
And if you continue to speak like that you will have to leave the premises.
You would then get the general response - I will speak how ever, blah blah, i will take my money blah blah. Give me your managers number. blah blah.
By this time the ppl in the queue are looking at this ******** thinking what a fwit.
Ask the ******** again to leave, and escort him out the door.
Get the teller off the counter, apologising to the queue, make them sit out for a cuppa or head off for a smoke. I thne would jump in that tellers position, and we all would listen together as the queue would inturn express what a fwit that person was and hoping that the teller was feeling not to upset.
